cholesterol levels. Speeds up healing of the mucous membranes of the lungs and throat, and can help combat catarrh.
Dosage: One 5,000iu capsule, daily (avoid if pregnant).
Foods to eat: Nuts and seeds, which supply antioxidants and zinc.
B VITAMINS
These are often referred to as the 'stress' vitamins as they are beneficial if you are suffering from anxiety, fatigue, tension, irritability and poor concentration. By helping to de-stress you, B vitamins also take the pressure off your adrenal glands, which are needed to produce oestrogen.
